Godfrey Dawkins was born and raised in New York City. After spending twenty-two years of his life in the city and earning a degree in Psychology, he traveled internationally for a year. When he returned, he explored the United States and met his wife in Arizona, where he still lives and works. Dawkins applies his degree in psychology to his work as a certified career coach, allowing him to lead a successful life.
